I'd figure I'd update this since I haven't uttered a word since, like, July. (Unless you count Memes, witch you probably shouldn't.)

A couple of friends and I were thinking of starting up an Alternative History/ Fantasy/ Western RP to spend the time we should probably be spending furthering our academic studies and whatnot.

It's centered around a history of the Civil War where the Union conceded and the Confederacy became it's own country, and where, since the central government of the eastern part of the country was weakened, the Native American Population bounced back and took back the Midwest. Since Native Americans have no federal government, the Midwest became a sort of free land for vagrants, tribes, caravans, and outlaws.

With the influence of European weaponry and technology, some of the Native American Tribes progressed, and eventually seized all the resources in that part of the country. Though they progressed technologically, they stayed rooted in their old religion and superstition.

Smaller groups of people began to take advantage of this fact. They began dressing up in elaborate costumes to convince the Native Americans that they were Gods, and to demand their resources. This worked so well that sort of tribes started to form around the most convincing gods, those usually with abilities. Through the time of years and years and years galore, some of the tribes that had formed around these fake gods became superstitious and fearful of them, creating sort of mini Monarchies.

Also, a whole bunch of people have certain types of cancers and diseases that mutated after some freak explosion thing that happened in Alaska. I've got to think more about it. Hmmmm, maybe it was Sarah Palin becoming VP.

Err, would anybody be interested in joining? Also, if there's any huge flaws that I'm not aware of, point them out. Just don't be a bitch about it.
